Final Day of Construction and Set Rigging Day

We've used today as our set rigging day so that we can dress the set and rehearse on Monday; ready to film on Tuesday of next week. It took a group effort to move the flats from the workshop into the shell space. We set about laying down the flooring of our set which we got from Studio C, then worked on the flats around the outside working in; then reinforcing them with stage braces where we needed to. We then added the  large parts of the set dressing such as the fridge, cabinets, tables and sofas. We did this not only to save time but to see for the first time just how it was all looking together before film week.

We've designated the back of the shell to use as the props table as we dress next week and we will use the front of the shell space for all the film equipment for ease of access. Overall, I feel we worked efficiently as we had our entire set rigged and ready to dress by the end of the day. This gives me confidence about filming next week.
