Building Props

In order to make our kitchen look believably realistic, we've constructed some cabinets and glued wooden doors on them (as they are non opening cabinets) to give the generic look of a kitchen that the audience's eye will recognise. For our counter tops, we've used sheets of material that have a pattern of a marble worktop on them. We were careful with this choice as we didn't want it to look like what it actually was. However, with the right pattern, it's almost unrecognisable as a sheet of roll up material when you look at it on the kitchen counter.
