Rigging The Set in the Workshop

Today we have started to take out the flats we need based on our set design plans in order to begin rigging and painting the flats for our set. We are going to focus on the kitchen first, setting up the layout and painting the flats to the colours that the art department have selected.

 Myself and Marlon have gone to a domestic appliance shop in Digbeth where Marlon was able to take off the owners hands; a reused fridge for free. This has been a huge saver for our budget whilst retaining authenticity to the look of our film. Over the next few days, we'll be working on getting the kitchen painted and ready for construction in the shell in a few weeks.
